Chili Cookoff/Block Party

If you want to enter the contest, bring a pot of your favorite Chili. There will be three judged categories.
- Traditional
- Wild game or White
- “Spice it up!”
Each pot will be displayed and sampled by all members present. Results will be tallied and a winner announced in each category. First place prizes in each category will be awarded. In case of a tie, winner to be decided by a toss of the coin.
Attendees who do not bring a pot of chili will be asked to provide a side dish or dessert using the following guide
- Last name beginning in A-Q – appetizer or side dish
- Last name beginning in R-Z – dessert.
Please RSVP if you plan to attend so we can ensure we can accommodate everyone. The sooner the better!! Bring food, a lawn chair, and your CORvette, (weather permitting). We should have adequate parking as I will issue a warning to my neighbors!
Fellow member Jim and Christine Fullerton have offered their house for any overflow and that will be greatly appreciated. As in last year’s event, I will provide drinks, bowl, utensils, cheese, sour cream, onions and jalapenos.
