The parade runs along Main Street in Longmont and is 1 mile long. We will be staging in a parking lot at Roosevelt Park. Donuts for all! \nAnd get this…following the Parade\, we are going to surprise the masses with a Corvette “Flash Mob”\, prior to the Awards Ceremony in Roosevelt Park. \nLast year our awesome Corvettes took 1st Place for Car Clubs\, and as the saying goes\,.. if it feels good\, do it again! DESCRIPTION:CORvettes Of the Rockies is registered in the Broomfield Days Parade. First-place trophies will be awarded for each eligible entry in its classification and category. Staging will probably take place around 8:30 AM. \nThe Parade ends at Midway Park\, where there will be a car show with hundreds of beautiful\, unique and classic cars from all around the area.  There will also be a festival at the park with displays and food vendors. \nDetails will be posted when I receive them from Broomfield. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Halloween Rally & Party on Sunday\, October 26. Register at Einstein’s Bagels\, 2311 Clover Basin Rd. at 9 AM. \nWe will be driving through canyons with winding roads on a 2-2 ½ hour drive. Some of the back roads will be lightly traveled\, allowing you to take a peaceful or spirited drive along the way.  There will be a 20-minute rest stop along the way with a Corvette challenge (we supply the Corvette in this entertaining event). \nOur final destination will be BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse in Boulder\, where we will have our awards ceremony\, have lunch\, party\, and watch football. This happens during the Denver Broncos-Kansas City Chiefs game day. This should be some competition (the football game as well). \nBring your homemade chili for all to enjoy\, or if you prefer not to make chili\, it is helpful if you bring a side dish to share that would go along with chili (maybe something more creative than chips\, as Mr. Brewer doesn’t need 20 bags of those). \nWinner of the Chili Cook-Off will receive 2 free tickets to our Christmas Party (a $40 value)\, and winner of the hottest chili will win a fire extinguisher for their Corvette (a good prize to never use). \nThere will be plenty of chili\, an open bar\, TV’s both upstairs and downstairs\, and Mr. Brewer will have plenty of beer on tap. In support of the library\, we suggest that you bring a gently used book\, DVD\, CD or audio as a donation. \nDonations will support the Paper & Spine Used Bookstore at the Main Library. \nThis event is organized by a community partner and hosted by the Boulder Public Library. \nPlease use the North Side Canyon Entrance if arriving after 6:30 p.m.\nParking is available in both the Canyon and Arapahoe lots. To reach the theater from the Arapahoe lot\, you can cross the creek using the exterior bridge.\nDoors for after hours events typically close 30 minutes after the event starts. This timing is based on the discretion of the event organizer and late admission is not guaranteed.
